Add the CRASHR Raffle Bot to your server
Announce & manage your collection's raffles with the CRASHR Raffle Bot, 100% free!
The CRASHR Raffle Bot lets you keep track of & manage CRASHR.io raffles in your server.
How to install the CRASHR Raffle Bot?
1. Add the bot to your server
To install the bot, simply click this link and add the bot to your server.
If you want to set-up Raffle Channels in your server, make sure you give the bot permission to Manage Channels.
2. Configure your raffle settings
Configuring your Raffle bot is easy and straightforward. Among others, you can choose to only receive raffle messages about raffles that contain your NFTs in the prize pool or only raffles that are priced in your token.
Admins can configure the bot using an intuitive dashboard with the /setraffle command. In here, you can:
- Add Collection Filters - this will filter raffle alerts & raffle channels to just the ones you're interested in. With Collection Filters, you can choose to only see raffles that contain assets of your NFT collection or that are priced in your Fungible Token.
- Set up your Alert Channel - this is where new raffles will be announced!
- Set up your Raffle Category - in this discord channel category, the bot will create new channels for raffles that are about to end. In these channels, you can monitor the raffle LIVE (how much time remains, when someone enters..) - more on this later!
- Set up your Raffle Tracktime - how long before the raffle ends that the bot should create a channel in the Raffle Category, in hours. If you set this to 0, a channel will be created immediately when the raffle is created!
- Set up your Raffle Deletetime - how long after the raffle has ended that the bot should delete the raffle channel, in hours. By default, channels are automatically deleted after 24 hours.
- Set up your Recent Raffles Channel - this is where raffles that have ended will be posted. Useful to look back on how many users ended up buying tickets, who ended up winning, etc.
Note: Discord only allows up to 50 channels per category. If you do not have a collection filter configured, it is recommended you set the tracktime to 72 hours at most, so that this limit is not reached!
And that's it!
Extra: Command Permissions
While the bot already restricts access to admin commands by default, you can create manual overrides for command permissions to allow or deny specific roles or members access to commands. Additionally, you can also keep your main channels clean by preventing commands from being used in your main chats.
To learn how to do so, check out our post on configuring command permissions.
Features
Raffle Alerts
When a new Raffle is created, it will be announced in your server's Alert Channel (to be configured with /setraffle).
The announcement will include all relevant details about the raffle:
- The raffle name
- All assets in the raffle, with links to their pool.pm pages
- The raffle ticket price
- The minimum & maximum number of tickets to purchase
- The creator of the raffle
- The endtime
- The description
- And the primary raffle image
Using the View Entries button, users can always see a live count of the number of entries in the raffle.
And with the Enter Raffle button, users are brought to the online CRASHR.io portal to participate in the raffle.
Raffle Channels
When a raffle is about to end, a new channel will be created where the bot will announce LIVE updates about the raffle until the raffle has ended.
This channel will be created in the Raffle Category, after the Raffle Tracktime has been reached. This can be configured by the server admins using the instructions at the top of this tutorial.
In the raffle channel, the bot will post an update:
- When someone enters the raffle
- At specific time intervals before the raffle ends, that the raffle is ending soon!
- At the end of the raffle, the winner will be declared
Raffles that have ended will be announced in the Recent Raffles Channel, and the raffle's own channel will be deleted a number of hours after the raffle has ended, to be configured with the Raffle Deletetime.
Raffle Voting
Members can vote on raffles by using the πππ buttons on the raffle announcement or at the top of a raffle channel. When the button is clicked, the vote will be placed and the raffle announcement message will be updated with the new number of votes. This way, users and server owners alike receive feedback on which raffles are most popular.
CRASHR Admins can use members' feedback to improve the raffle experience on their platform. To leave a comment, click the Add Comment button to send a direct feedback message to the CRASHR team.
