Give/Take/Set XP for users and configure modifiers

Note! This command may be different depending on which Lovelace.Tools bot is being used. In this example, we will use Bratatat's Dev Corner's Dev version of the Lovelace.Tools bot - which uses LoveCoins ("LC") instead of the traditional XP.

The /xpadmin command - commands overview

Giving/Taking/Setting XP for users

As a server admin, you can manage the amount of XP members have in your server. Use

/xpadmin give to give XP to your members
/xpadmin take to take XP from your members
/xpadmin set to set the amount of XP someone has

Keep in mind every time you modify someone's XP this interaction is logged and can be audited.

Server owners: be wary who you give this permission to! You can learn how you can configure command permissions in our tutorial here.

Configuring channel modifiers

To incentivize members to use certain channels over others, you can use the /xpadmin modifier command. This is useful to eg:

Incentivize members to use your main chat
Temporary boost chat rewards during events
Discourage members from using bot channels

The /xpadmin command - setting channel modifiers

When you set a modifier for a channel, chat rewards in that channel will be higher or lower depending on which multiplier you have set:

0: Members will not receive any chatrewards in this channel
<1: Members will receive less XP for chatting in this channel
1: Members will receive the standard amount of XP for chatting in this channel
>1: Members will receive more XP for chatting in this channel

Other relevant commands

/leaderboard - view the top members in your server!
/xp - check the XP of yourself or other members. View your XP history & more!
/levelroles - for server admins: to reward members with roles for reaching a certain level
